Spiritual Growth Campaign
![]() Christian Life Church is answering the most fundamental question everyone faces in life – What on Earth Am I Here For? The understanding of our unique purpose depends on how we answer this question. The What on Earth Am I Here For? Campaign is an all-new 6-week small group teaching and Sunday service series from Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church. This spiritual growth campaign will begin on Sunday, September 29, 2013, continue through Sunday, November 10, and will include an all-new curriculum designed to unite and ignite small groups inspired by the original Purpose Driven Life small group study and a Sunday morning sermon series that will help individuals discover their life calling.

Prayer, Praise and God's Promises
Wednesday, January 29, 2013, at 7:30 will be Communion at Christian Life Church. We will
have a time of Thanksgiving and Praise and increase our Faith as we hear
God's Promise of Provision. Then with Thankful hearts we will come to
the table of the Lord and celebrate the victory that was won at
Calvary. "Our God Is Awesome" He can move mountains and He can keep
you in all circumstances. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge him and He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 "But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus our Lord." Philippians 4:19 Be encouraged, Be Blessed the Lord is with you! Pastor Jay |
A Time Of Prayer
"If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive your sins and heal your land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 God's promises are almost always premised on a condition. "If" is a conditional word. If we meet the condition, God will fulfil the promise. The condition is first, then the manifested promise comes second. "Whatsoever you bind on earth, will be bound in heaven." Do you see, how action on earth precipitates action in heaven. Something happens when we pray. There is something even more powerful than our personal prayers, it is our cooperate prayers. One of us can chase a thousand to flight, two of us can chase ten thousand to flight. On the day of Pentecost, "They were all together in one place and in one accord, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven like a mighty rushing wind and it filled that place....." Acts 2:1 It was a sound from heaven. We need to hear from heaven, not from the talk shows, not from the daily newspaper, not even from the politicians but from heaven. If we humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face (favor) and turn from our wicked ways. God said I will give you three things: 1. A Hearing - then will I hear from heaven 2. A Helping - I will forgive your sins 3. A Healing - I will heal your land. I believe it is up to us now. My answer will be yes Lord, to your will and to your way! Prayer & Consecration
During the month of January, Christian Life Church will be experiencing a time of consecration with prayer and fasting. Weekly prayer meetings will be Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. You are also invited to join us for a 21-day fast from January 9th-29th. The fast is simply no meats and no sweets for the 21 days. Our time of consecration to begin the year here at Christian Life Church is a set time in which we are preparing ourselves spiritually. It is like a tithe in giving God the first month and believing that He will bless the rest and that our consecration and commitment will produce a blessed and prosperous 2013. We, therefore, are expecting a year of overflow. Join us as we seek God's direction and renew our dedication to Him in this new year. Everyone is invited to participate at whatever level is best for them. If you cannot engage in a food fast for health reasons, consider fasting in some other area, such as television or computer use. We look forward to seeing you at Christian Life Church! |
