Class 201: Maturity

Discipleship is growing to be like Christ.

The purpose of this class is “that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God” (Col 4:12 KJV) and “That we henceforth be no more children…But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ” (Eph 4:14-15 KJV).

This class will focus on the Four Basic Habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity. This class will equip you with the skills you need to begin these habits, and explain the tools needed to continue them.

The goal of this class is spiritual maturity: “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Rom. 8:29 KJV). “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Eph 4:13 KJV).

Class 301: Ministry

I am shaped to serve God.

The purpose for this class and for ministry is that “And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal…t all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ” (1 Cor. 12:6-7, 11-12 KJV).

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Eph. 4: 11-12 KJV).

This class will focus on Five Personal Factors that have combined to shape the "real" you. By identifying the specific traits you possess in each of these areas, we believe that the ministry God has designed you for will become crystal clear!

The goals for this class are to discover your unique design for ministry and commit to develop and use your God-given gifts and abilities in serving God and others through your church family, and to select and begin serving in the ministry of our church that best expresses what God made you to be.

Class 401: Mission

Evangelism is my purpose in the world.

The goal of this class is to commit the rest of your life to being a messenger of God's Good News to other people, and using your time, talents, and treasure for His Kingdom, regardless of where it leads or what it costs. “Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him” (2 Cor. 5:9 KJV). “But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you” (2 Cor. 10:13 KJV).

The basis for this class is that God planned my life mission before I was born"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10 KJV)—and that my primary task in life is to fulfill my mission—“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24 KJV).
