Do you want to ‘plug in’ to the Christian Life Church a bit more? Have you
been wondering where you can go and meet new people in a smaller
setting and discover a deeper sense of connection to the church? Then
consider joining a Connect Small Group!
Connect Small Groups provide an opportunity for people to make friends, grow in
their faith and do life together in a smaller setting than our main
services. They are informal, friendly and supportive, providing an ideal
setting in which to meet new people.
“And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ."
—Acts 5:42 (KJV)
Why Do We Need Small Groups?
Everyone needs a safe place to be known and know others. Believers are a part of
a spiritual family called the Body of Christ, or the Church. Every
member of this family needs care, nurture, challenge, guidance, and
prayer, not to mention an environment in which to ask questions and
share struggles without the fear of judgment.
The phrase “one another” is
found over 50 times in the Bible. Scripture challenges us to love one
another, pray for one another, encourage one another, forgive one
another, and stimulate one another to love and good deeds. The small
group cultivates an environment where these “one another” realities can
be experienced in real life.
