Do you want to ‘plug in’ to the Christian Life Church a bit more? Have you been wondering where you can go and meet new people in a smaller setting and discover a deeper sense of connection to the church? Then consider joining a Connect Small Group!
Connect Small Groups provide an opportunity for people to make friends, grow in their faith and do life together in a smaller setting than our main services. They are informal, friendly and supportive, providing an ideal setting in which to meet new people.
“And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ." —Acts 5:42 (KJV)
Why Do We Need Small Groups?
Everyone needs a safe place to be known and know others. Believers are a part of a spiritual family called the Body of Christ, or the Church. Every member of this family needs care, nurture, challenge, guidance, and prayer, not to mention an environment in which to ask questions and share struggles without the fear of judgment.
The phrase “one another” is found over 50 times in the Bible. Scripture challenges us to love one another, pray for one another, encourage one another, forgive one another, and stimulate one another to love and good deeds. The small group cultivates an environment where these “one another” realities can be experienced in real life.

You don’t have to be a Bible-expert to lead a Connect Small Group. You do need to have a desire to serve the members of your group, grow in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and encourage others in theirs’ as well. You must be a Christian example that others can follow, a member of Christian Life Church, and attend regular leadership meetings.
What Do I Need to Do?
Everyone is welcome to participate in a Connect Small Group!
To host, you need to enjoy having others in your home.
To facilitate, you need to be prepared to lead and share discussions. CONNECT SMALL GROUP will involve a minimum of 2-3 hours weekly to participate in a group.
As a leader, you will also be expected to attend regular leadership meeting with the Pastors and leadership team and follow-up on the members of your group with ministry.
